iOS Crash Logs

Apple provides an online system with crash log deliveries submitted by iTunes itself.
But mainly it needs too much time to collect and deliver them to the developers.
To speed things up, you’re able to deliver the crash logs directly by sending/mailing the logs.

How to find crash logs for iOS applications on Mac, Vista and XP ?

  1. Sync your Device with iTunes to let it copy all crash logs on your computer.
  2. Find the needed files
    <AppName>_***********.crash
    <AppName>_***********.plist

    located in the following directories:
    Mac OS X:
    /Users/<USERNAME>/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/<DEVICE_NAME>

    Windows Vista/7:
    C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Apple computer\Logs\CrashReporter/MobileDevice/<DEVICE_NAME>

    Windows XP:

    C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Application Data\Apple computer\Logs\CrashReporter/<DEVICE_NAME>

  3. Send the files to the developers
